Axis Bank Roar of Excellence in Andaman & Nicobar – My Experience as Emcee
Some events are just shows.
And some events become memories you carry in your heart.
Hosting Axis Bank’s Roar of Excellence for their top performers in the stunning backdrop of Andaman & Nicobar Islands was one of those experiences for me as a corporate emcee and anchor.
This special evening was all about celebrating achievement, MDRT-level performance, and the spirit of excellence – and I had the honour of bringing it all together on stage.

When you land in Andaman, the first thing that hits you is the calm – blue waters, open skies and a sense of being far away from the usual city rush.
For an event like Roar of Excellence, this setting was perfect.
Axis Bank’s top performers, qualifiers and leaders flew in from different parts of the country to celebrate a year of hard work, numbers, goals and MDRT-worthy achievements. The atmosphere was a beautiful mix of relaxation, excitement and pride.

The theme of the evening, Roar of Excellence, was all about:

As the event emcee, my role was to:
- Set the tone of the evening
- Build energy in the room
- Introduce leaders and award segments
- Keep the flow smooth between speeches, AVs, rewards and celebrations
From the first welcome to the final group cheer, the focus was always on Axis Bank’s champions – the people who consistently show up, perform and make a difference.

As a corporate anchor, I believe hosting is not just about announcing names – it’s about creating an emotional thread through the event.
For this Axis Bank evening, I:

Of course, what’s a celebration without some fun and laughter?
To balance the formal recognition with joy, we added:
- Quick interactive games with the audience
- Light, spontaneous challenges for teams and zonal leaders
- A few playful segments to bring out the fun side of the bankers
These moments brought the room together – people laughing, cheering for each other, and letting go of their usual formal side. For me as an emcee, this is always a highlight – watching serious professionals relax and genuinely enjoy the night.
